He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Smith and Edith Smith. He is survived by: his wife Merideth; his children, Lawson Smith (Jada) and Gwin S. Connell (John); his grandchildren, Hampton, Walker and Merideth Connell; his brother Kirby Smith; and his caregivers, Beverly, Patti, Kris and Brittany. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Trinity United Methodist Church (706 14th Ave S, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582).
