He was predeceased by: his parents, George Liddle and Mary Roberts Ireland; and his wife Sheila Ireland. He is survived by: his children, George R. Ireland, II, Diana Loller, Yvonne Lovely and Julie Einsiedel; and his brother John Ireland. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
