She was predeceased by: her husband Wesley Currence; her parents, Lilburn Chandler and Eugenia Chandler; and her sister Susan Moser. She is survived by: her children, Charles Currence (Marilyn) of Athens, TN, Joan Grimmett (Jack) and Carol Wiker (Larry) of Kingston, TN.; and her grandchildren, Chandler "Beau" Grimmett (Hope) of Charleston, SC, Emily Currence of Knoxville, TN, Ginny Grimmett, Megan Mercer (Derek) of Athens, TN, Holli Hardin (Landon) of Kingston, TN, Casey Langley of Lyman, WY and Amy Langley of Knoxville, TN. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
