He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lynch and Mary Lynch (Nolan); and his siblings, John, Catherine Bristoll and Mary Erlanger.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Connolly Lynch; and his children, Maureen Splonskowski (James) of Colonie, NY and Kevin (Rachele Vogel) of Long Beach, NY.. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
