He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph Spivey Sr. and Bessie Spivey; his wife Evangelist Sandra Spivey; his children, Renee Jones (Aaron), Otis Jr., Marie Ishmael (William), David and Jason; his siblings, Ralph Spivey Jr. (Ruth), Isaiah Spivey (Sunny), Charles Spivey (late Berlene), Joseph Spivey (Brenda), Eugene Spivey (Pat), Warren Spivey (Kimberly), Sylvester Spivey (Frenchie), Linda Campbell (late James), Olene Rush (Alton Rush), Diane Hill (Terry), Jeanette Taylor (James), Patty Edwards (Gary) of Washington, Judy Wheeler (Wendell) and Marlisa Demming (Charlie); his grandchildren, Aaron Jones III, Armahn Jones, Jason Spivey Jr., Zjadiah Jones-Highbaugh, Tamauri Jones, Ciarah Jones, Malai Ishmael, Q'Aliyah Jones and Madison Ishmael; and his great grandchildren, Kyrie Highbaugh and Ka'Mora Jones. He was also cherished by friends, nephews and nieces.
