He was predeceased by: his parents, Freeman Etchie and Eleanor Mosher Etchie; and his brother Gene Etchie. He is survived by: his wife Marian Frawley Etchie; his children, Daniel M. Etchie, Sue A. Follansbee (Scott) and Amy Duffin; his grandchildren, Matthew Etchie, Dana Garretson, Stephanie Baurac, Meghan Duffin, John Duffin, Bryan Duffin and Kyle Follansbee; and his sister Carol Salvagni.
