He was predeceased by: his parents, Caroline H. Vaught (Lindauer) and William E. "Bill" Vaught; and his stepbrother Larry Basham of Ocala, Florida.. He is survived by: his brother Marty; his sister-in-law Margie Vaught of Jasper; his niece Caroline Vaught of Nashville; his stepmother Dorothy "Dot" Vaught of Decatur, Alabama; his stepsisters, Beverly Smith (Kelly) of Battleground, Alabama, Cindy Basham of Decatur, Alabama and Melissa Basham of Atlanta, Georgia.; his close friend Jamison Simms (Dina); and also, Caleb of Little River, Patrick of Little River and Marshall of Little River.
