We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2022, at the age of 93, Chester Hockenberry of Little River, South Carolina, born in Osceola Mills, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Erman and Annie Hockenberry (Torreance); his spouse Joylene A. Tompkins; his siblings, Isabel Showers, Mary Mae Bryan, Joseph Hockenberry and Erman Hockenberry; and his grandson Joseph Hockenberry.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Doug Pfahl of Little River, SC.; and his children, Joanie M. Pfahl (Doug) of Little River, SC, Cathie I. Hazel (Tom) of Woodland, PA, Marvin W. Hockenberry (Teresa) of Philipsburg, PA and Ronald C. Hockenberry (Eunice) of Glendale, AZ. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
