With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carrie Hudson of Little River, South Carolina, born in Tabor City, North Carolina, who passed away on November 15, 2021 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Charlie Bellamy and Rosa Bellamy Riggins; and her siblings, Alfred, Edward Bellamy, Charlie Bellamy, Wilbert Bellamy, Edmond Riggins, Samuel Riggins and Earlene Bessant.
She is survived by: her children, Vertis "Pete" Bellamy, Carrie Bellamy Wilson, James "Moot" Hudson and Arthur Hudson; her grandchildren, Mary B. Howard, Virtus Bellamy, Jennifer Bellamy and James "Jay" Hudson, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Jamira Bellamy and Deydric Bellamy; and her sister-in-law Carrie Neil Riggins of Little River, SC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other sorrowing relatives and friends.
