He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Zawistowski; his son Doug Zawistowski; his granddaughters, Brittany Zawistowski and Amber Zawistowski; his great grandchildren, Abel Zawistowski and Blair Zawistowski; and his sister Carol Zawistowski. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
