Matty of Little River, South Carolina, born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 81, on May 8, 2023. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Matty and Mary Matty (Margitish); and his sister Suzanne Matty. He is survived by: his wife Darlene K. Matty (Lower); his sons, Andrew J. Matty, Jr. (Kelly), Gregory M. Matty, Eric M. Matty and Thomas C. Matty (Amanda); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Erin, Katrina, Holden and Carter; and his sister Janice Eustice.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Building Fund of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church.
