He was predeceased by: his father Victor; his son Kevin Elijah; and his brothers, David Elijah and William Elijah. He is survived by: his wife Karen Hicks Elijah; and his children, Jim Jr., Jodi Powell and Kelcey Elijah. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
