With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William S. Gambrell of Little Mountain, South Carolina, born in Clinton, South Carolina, who passed away on September 2, 2020 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William S. Gambrell to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Johnson Gambrell; his son-in-law James Dean; his great grandchild Lon Gambrell, III; and his siblings, Margaret Blumer, Lena Motelle Epting, Ruby Basden, Ruth Davis, Carl Gambrell and Jack Gambrell.
He is survived by: his nephew Lon Gambrell (Dorothy) of Whitmire; and his nieces, Sherry Waters (Robert) of Prosperity, Belinda Dean of Chapin and Catherine Russell (Lawrence) of Little Mountain. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren, 19 great- grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
