He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Pettus and Hettie Wofford Lindler. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Shealy Lindler; his sons, William W. Lindler, Jr. (Rhonda) of Little Mountain and Randy Lindler (Balinda) of Chapin; his sister Anne McClamroch of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Jonathan Lindler, Megan Lindler and Brett Lindler; and his stepgrandchildren, Alex Cartee and Destiny Barnette.
