She was predeceased by: her parent Thomas Virgil Hawkins; her husband Charles Eugene "Gene" Grant; and her brothers, Thomas L. Hawkins and Lewis Stanley Hawkins. She is survived by: her parent Lila Lake Hawkins; her daughters, Linda Kay Grant and Barbara Ann Grant; and her sisters, Cynthia Kay Lindler (Carl) and Evelyn Mills.
