It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joey R. Brooks of Little Mountain, South Carolina, born in Newberry, South Carolina, who passed away on April 25, 2023, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Reginald "Reggie" and Letha Williamson Brooks. He is survived by: his wife Melodi Faller Brooks; his daughters, Hannah and Lylah Brooks; his uncle Henry Brooks; and his sister Gena Turner.
