He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Morris Tobias, Sr. and Dalice Gallman Tobias; his wife Doris Tobias; his granddaughter Courtney Tobias; and his parents-in-law, Elizabeth Williams and Alonzo Williams.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melody Tobias of Charlotte, NC and Dawn Tobias Bedenbaugh (Gerald) of Charlotte, NC; his sister Lavern Tobias Byrd (James) of Little Mountain, SC; his grandchildren, Germaya Bedenbaugh, Tyler Tobias, Ethan Tobias, Aaron Bedenbaugh and Jessica Bedenbaugh; his aunts, Rose Mayer of Monte Clair, NJ and Barbara Mitchell of Columbia, SC; his siblings-in-law, John Earl Williams of Prosperity, SC and Geraldine Brown of New York, NY; and his friend Paula Gibbs. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
