He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie E. Bowers and Ruby Lee Mayers Bowers; his daughter Montina Bowers; and his siblings, Betty A. Bowers, Mattie Ruth B. Williams, Imogene B. Mayers, James Willie Bowers Sr. (Melinda) of Decatur, AL and Cleveland A. Bowers.
He is survived by: his daughter Tahnicha Praylow Jackson of Prosperity, SC; his grandchildren, Tahkynah Praylow, Tyhenreia Hall, Tynique Jackson, Tyjerious Praylow and Tyquanrius Martin; his siblings, Loretta B. Moon of Little Mountain, SC, Sylvesta E. Bowers Sr. (Nancy) of Little Mountain, SC, Ollie L. Bowers (Sandra) of Little Mountain, SC and Command Sergeant Major Timothy O. (Retired); his sister-in-law Dorristeen H. Bowers of Little Mountain, SC; and his aunt Bettie Lee Mayers. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A face mask is required at the home, in the parlor and at the church the day of the service.
