She was predeceased by: her husband David Eugene Burns; her parents, Claude Medlin and Etta Swords Medlin; and her siblings, Lois Watson, Lib Dodson and Roy Medlin.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Cain (Kenny) of Liberty, Pam Quist (Lee) of Easley, David Burns Liberty (Suzanne) and Tony Burns of Six Mile; her brothers, J. D. of Norris and Guy Medlin of Norris; and her pet Otis. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road Anderson, SC 29621.
