He is survived by: his wife Janet Merrifield; his children, Tracey Swords (Joel), Keith Merrifield (Robin) and Jill Merrifield (Theron Campbell); his sister Peggy Babcock; and his grandchildren, Leighton Gillespie, Michael Merrifield, Avery Merrifield, Levi Merrifield, Blake Swords and Kasey Holcombe. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
