She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Reitmeier and George Reitmeier; her husband David W. Carey, Sr.; and her brother Kenneth Reitmeier. She is survived by: her children, Dave Jr. (Bridget), Sue Hanks (David) and Betsy Bish; her grandchildren, Hannah Carey, Carson Carey, Lauren Martinez (Oscar), Breanna Hanks, Aidan Bish, Morgan Bish and Jason Bish; her brother George Reitmeier (Faith); and her pet PupPup. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Pickens County Humane Society or Upstate Warrior Solution on Lois' behalf.
