He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Ernest E. Stancil, Jr. and Vivian "Adelle" Barkley Stancil; and his siblings, Martha Jean Ferguson and Greg Stancil. He is survived by: his children, Pam Gibson (Roger) and Robert Stancil (Michelle); his siblings, Roger Stancil, Allen Stancil, Reverend Tony Stancil and Becky Ramey; his grandchildren, Holly Miller, Ivy Grace Burgess, Destaney Stancil and Cheyenne Stancil; and his great grandchildren, A. J. Burgess, Essie Burgess, Selah Burgess, Jameson Miller and Marybeth Miller.
