He is survived by: his sister-in-law Betty McCullough; his wife Mary Taylor; his daughter Melissa Jane Sanford Smith (Bryan) of Liberty; his grandchildren, Jaimie Smith Brunner (Tim) of Easley, Jason Ross Smith (Chelsea) of Anderson and Rylee Marie Medlin of Liberty; his great grandchildren, Kira, Greyson, Kassi, Blakely and Nora; and his siblings, Floyd Sanford of Walhalla, SC and Florence Carey (James) of Easley.
