She was predeceased by: her parents, Jule F. Merck and Retta Swords Merck. She is survived by: her children, Mike Sanders (Lynn) of Central, Marty Sanders (Sheri) of Easley and Cindy Sluder (Bobby) of Liberty; her sister Mildred Pelfrey of Liberty; her sister-in-law Betty Merck of Norris; and her grandchildren, Lori Langston, Jeremy Sanders (Jenny), Matt Sanders, Melissa Pilgrim (Michael), Sheena Rampey (Jayme), Courtney Zuber (Michael), Ryan Sanders (Emily) and Chad Sluder. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
