He is survived by: his children, Jim Thornton (Susan), Tim Thornton (Fran), David Thornton, Ann Boquette (Russ) and Lee Thornton (Tina); and his sister Joann Pendleton. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren.
