He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Franklin and Doris Lafler Pickens; and his siblings, Theresa Wells and Franklin Pickens. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Strohl Pickens; his children, Donna Duncan (Dale) of Liberty and Ernie Pickens (Kathy) of Fairview Texas; his sisters, Joyce Studnicka of Mancelona and Mary Rehberg of Dundee, Michigan; his grandchildren, Amber Marquez, Sam Pickens, Megan Pickens and Jake Pickens; and his great grandchild Venice Marquez.
