It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Buddy Dacus (Liberty, South Carolina), born in Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on December 5, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry Dacus and Emma Yates Dacus McCall; and his siblings, Ruby Nell Epps, Faye Carmen, Janet Wheeler, Frances Nations, James Dacus, Otis and Clinton Stancil.
He is survived by: his wife Betty McWhorter Dacus; his sons, Tim Dacus of Liberty and Benny Dacus (Cindy) of Liberty; his sister Annie Ruth Phillips of Hartwell, GA; and his grandchildren, Jacob, Tyler and Adison Dacus.
