It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jo Sutton of Liberty, South Carolina, born in Morristown, Tennessee, who passed away on March 12, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Augustus Sutton, Sr.; her parents, Theodore Bowman and Alice Trent Bowman; her former husband Marvin Bishop; and her daughter-in-law Sandra Bishop.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Bishop of Easley, Terrie Fowler (Wayne) of Gaston and Alice Tillotson of Liberty; her grandchildren, Toby Bishop (Melinda), David McCarson (Debbie), Brian McCarson (Patti), Kevin McCarson (Charlsye), Wanda Meredith (Adam) and Alisha Tillotson (Craig); her stepchildren, Diane Aultman of Columbia and Gus Sutton, Jr. of Lugoff; and her sister Joanne Smith. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
