She was predeceased by: her husband Leroy Swords; her parents, Marshall Entrekin and Agnes Gillespie Entrekin; and her sisters, Marie, Helen, Grace, Willie Mae and Carolyn.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Swords (Ann) of Liberty, Connie Ward (Mike) of Liberty and Zena Smith of Liberty; and her grandchildren, Terezia Garrick (Rick) and Steven Nagy. She is also survived by 3 other grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to Flat Rock Baptist Church, 115 Slab Bridge Road, Liberty SC 29657.
