She was predeceased by: her spouse Marion Murrell; her parents, William Whitlock and Mary Frances Summey Whitlock; her son Gregg Murrell; and her siblings, Wanda Norton, Frances Hamlin and Jim Whitlock.
She is survived by: her sister Ida Nix; and her siblings-in-law, Zoe Whitlock, Elma Teat, Gordon Murrell and Ted Murrell (Pam). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Liberty Mortuary (30 S Palmetto St, Liberty, SC 29657). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
