He was predeceased by: his parents, Jason Patrick Hite and Rosa Corley Hite; his wife Lucille Betty Shumpert Hite; and his siblings, Louise Hite Dooley, Norman Hite, Vera Hite Dooley, John Hite, Harold Hite, Lonnie Hite, Estelle Hite Ricard, Mabel Hite, Billy Hite and Lewis Hite.

He is survived by: his children, Mark Hite (Shanna), Stanley Hite (Russell) and Terry Hite (Kathy); his grandchildren, Jared Hite, Travis Hite (Lauren), Karlynn Hite Benbow (James) and Brianna Hite; and his great grandchildren, Emma Hite, Zoey Benbow and Dominic Benbow.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to St David Lutheran Church in memory of Wilbur.
