He was predeceased by: his father Nevin William Whiteside, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Sox Whiteside; his children, Elizabeth Lauren Whiteside Mann (Jordan) and John Andrew Patton Whiteside; his grandchildren, Poppy and Patton; his siblings, Stan Whiteside (Lynda) and Kim French (Tim); and his close friend Mary Pfeiffer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church (1130 St Peters Rd, Lexington, SC 29072). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Wayne's memory to their charity of choice.
