He was predeceased by: his former wife Dana Kozak Sailerova; and his brother Dr. Jiri Sailer. He is survived by: his wife Dr. Tania Aynat Sailer of Children's Hospital; and his children, Olga Ribble of Ringwood, Dr. Voyta Sailer (Laura) of Lewisville, Sandra Sailer-Taylor (Chadwick Taylor) of Columbia and Raoul Sailer (Patricia Bivens Sailer) of Summerville. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and at 4:00 PM at the Woodridge Memorial Park and Funeral Home (138 Corley Mill Rd, Lexington, SC 29072). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bush River Memorial Gardens (5400 Bush River Rd, Columbia, SC 29212).
