She was predeceased by: her parents, William Franklin Hicks and Bessie Mae Carter Hicks; her husband Elbert Hilton Havird Sr.; and her siblings, Bill Hicks, Robert Hicks and Doris Hicks McEntire.
She is survived by: her children, Bert Havird of Jacksonville, Jim Havird of Lexington, Don Havird (Nora) of West Columbia and Lisa DuBois (Scott) of Lexington. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
