He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Van De Weerd and Gretchen Gerbrand; his former wife Linda Nesevich; his son Jimmy of Wellington, Ohio; and his siblings, Bert, Jr. and Jackie Perry.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Ronald (Julie) and Kim (Mike) of Elyria, Ohio; and his siblings, Bill (Cynthia), Rollie (Charlene) and Chris (Jim Harsa). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Caughman-Harman Funeral Home – Lexington Chapel (503 N Lake Dr, Lexington, SC 29072).
