He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Mae Mitchell and Herbert Newlander. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline M. Newlander; his children, Stephanie Mackelburger (Mike) and Ron Newlander, Jr. (Janet); and his stepdaughters, Christina Lassman, Michelle Bernard (J. C.) and Nicole Johnson (Johnny). He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren, and 11 step-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM and on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The military honors will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Fort Logan National Cemetery (4400 W Kenyon Ave, Denver, CO 80236).
