He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Scott and Joan Holley Scott; his wife Julie Scott; his stepdaughter Amanda Mack; and his brothers, Mack and Jimmy Scott.
He is survived by: his pet Zoey; his children, Jason Scott (Caroline), Alex Dittmar and Jennifer Scott; and his sister Pat Wise (O'Neal). He is also survived by his eight grandchildren.
