It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Carol Slater Martin of Lexington, South Carolina, who passed away on December 17, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Vida Slater; her brother John Slater; and her brother-in-law Roger Davis. She is survived by: her father Kenneth Slater of Lubbock, TX; her husband Franklin "Bo" Martin of Lexington, SC; her children, Quay Dopler (Shawnee Thompson) of Mansfield, TX and Jess Groomer (Levi) of Lubbock, TX; her grandchildren, Liam and Laurel; her daughter Jenna Gospodnetich (Cody) of Trail, OR; her grandchildren, Cale and Cora; her daughter Ace Slater (Alex King) of Portland, OR; her sisters, Vicky Davis of Lubbock, TX, Keena Donarumo (Mike) of Granbury, TX and Jerry Slater (Brenda Williams) of Lubbock, TX; her sisters-in-law, Stacy Slater of Lubbock, TX and Ellen Jaworski (Steve) of Paso Robles, CA; her stepson Jason Martin (Amanda) of Edgefield, SC; her stepgrandchildren, Silas, Thad, Caleb and Eileen; her stepson Todd Martin (Renee) of Lexington, SC; and her stepgrandchildren, Sebastian and Olivia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
