She was predeceased by: her parent Frederick Bascomb Horton, Sr.; her husband Charlie Joy; and her brothers, Fred Horton, Bob Horton and Lawton Horton.
She is survived by: her parent Rosemond Long Horton; her sons, Thomas "Lucky" Joy (Janet) of North Augusta, SC and Freddie L. Joy (Robin) of Lexington; her grandchildren, Stanton Chapman (Jennifer), Nathan Joy (Christine), Justin Joy (Jessica) and Marianne Williamson (Edwin); and her great grandchildren, Sara Joy, Bryson Joy, Kayleigh Williamson, Kamryn Williamson, Kassie Williamson, Aubrey Joy, Paxton Joy and Wittney Martin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Red Bank Baptist Church Missions Fund.
