Lou Collier Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lou Collier of Lexington, South Carolina, born in Newberry, South Carolina, who passed away on May 21, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Osborne S. Goree and Lillie Johnson Goree; and her siblings, Irby Major Goree, Furman Joseph Goree (Lillian), Virgil Osborne Goree (Dollie), James Edward Goree, Jack Osborne Goree (Virgie), William Johnson Goree and Doris Marie Mohler.
She is survived by: her husband Arthur K. Collier (Art); her daughters, Mary McDowell (Alex), Ann Collier and Amy Gilbert (Mark); and her grandchildren, Elizabeth McDowell, David McDowell (Kelly), Laura Gilbert and Daniel Gilbert. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.
