He is survived by: his grandchild Ashlea; his wife Shawna; his children, Dusty (Robyn), Kylee (Diane), Jaret (Stephanie), Ashlea and Shaia (Adam); his grandchildren, Emmery, Thales, Nelli and Althea; his siblings, Karen, Bonnie (Stu), Leanne (Ray), Les (Donna), Ross (Gail), Marvin (Dyan) and Kory (Julia); and his aunts, Dorothy and Gladys. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of one's choice or Equine Rescue of Aiken in South Carolina and Sunrise House – Grande Prairie Youth Emergency Shelter.
