She was predeceased by : her parents, Otis Drayton Smith and Idora Lucas Smith; and her siblings, O. D. Smith, Don Smith, Bob Smith, Norman Smith, Sam Smith, Ada Anderson and Judy Medlin.

She is survived by : her daughter Linda Whitley Bryant (Richard); her grandsons, Mack Bayne III (Trey), Christopher W. Bayne, Alexander C. Bryant and Stephen A. Bryant; her great grandchildren, Tegan, Christopher, Tyler, Caulder, Landon, Bella, Jackson, Reeves and Brooks; and her nieces, Nancy Jackson, Ellen Goff and Lois.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, July 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Southland Memorial Gardens (700 W Dunbar Rd, West Columbia, SC 29170).
