He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernie Leslie Douglas and Gloria Gail Douglas; his brother Rodney Douglas; and his grandparents, Leslie, Bernice Douglas, Gene and Elizabeth Walters (Lib).

He is survived by: his wife Amy Rebecca Lathan Douglas; his children, Elizabeth Bernice Douglas of Lexington, SC and Kevin Boyce Douglas, Jr. (Alexus); his grandchild Kinzlee Alexandria Douglas of Swansea, SC.; his uncle Rudy E. Walters (Carolyn); his aunts, Myra Walters (Craig), Karen Bedenbaugh and Mary Gail Douglas; and his mother-in-law Susan Lathan.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Elmore Masonic Lodge No. (936 Pine St, Pelion, SC 29123). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fort Jackson National Cemetery (4170 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC 29229).
