She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Lamon and Marie Lee Lamon; and her brother David Lamon. She is survived by: her children, Michael R. Horton, Roger L. Horton, Scott A. Horton and Michele Wade. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 1 recently born great-grandchild.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel (609 Northwood Rd, Lexington, SC 29072). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Dorchester Memory Gardens (11000 Dorchester Rd, Summerville, SC 29485).
