He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. Dalton and Azalee Usery Dalton; and his siblings, Jimmy Dalton (Joyce), Jearl Dean Hanson and Carl Holliday.
He is survived by: his wife Jeannene Dunlap Dalton; his children, Lynn Kinard and Danny Dalton (Kason); his brother Bobby Dalton (Debbie); and his grandchildren, Brandon Caughman, Gracyn Caughman, Noah Kinard, Emma Kinard and Sawyer Dalton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
