With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Hazel Gault-Martin of Lexington, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 21, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Newton Moore and Dorothy Bates Moore; her brother James Preston Moore; her sister-in-law Margaret Patricia Moore; her nephew James Preston Moore Jr.; her nieces, Pamela Moore and Susan Robertson (Jimmy); her former husband Sidney Walton Gault, Sr.; her son Joseph Timothy Gault; and her stepson John Martin Jr..
She is survived by: her child Sidney Walton Gault, Jr. (Steve); her husband John Martin; her children, Leslie Gault Mendelsohn (Paul) and Elizabeth Jane Gault; her grandson Cory Alexander Martin; her niece Lisa; her great-niece Emily Johnson (Jason); and her great-nephews, J. J. Reeves and James Johnson.
A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Providence Lutheran Church (840 Old Chapin Rd, Lexington, SC 29072).
