She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Mosley and Christine Mosley; and her siblings, Lamar Mosley and Kay Mosley. She is survived by: her husband Larry Blackwell; her children, Andy Blackwell, Christy LeBron (Sam) and Tommy Blackwell (Shannon); her grandchildren, Brandon Blackwell, Alexis Watkins (Trey), Dylan Blackwell, Noah LeBron, Sara Blackwell, Jacob LeBron, Ethan LeBron, Brent Blackwell, Will Blackwell and Emily Blackwell; and her great grandchild Drew Watkins. She is also survived by brother and sister in laws; cousins; nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Trinity Baptist Church (2003 Charleston Hwy, Cayce, SC 29033). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Fort Jackson National Cemetery (4170 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC 29229).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials may be made to Trinity Baptist Church.
