She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley and Corrie Lewis Gunter; her husband Leroy Phillips; and her daughter Dell Collins (Nathaniel). She is survived by: her children, Paula Ash (Garry) and Jay Phillips (Michele). She is also survived by ses 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
