She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Ray Hankinson and Nellie T. Hankinson; her husband Joel Player; her son Bert Smith; and her daughter-in-law Ami Player.
She is survived by: her son Joel Lawton Player; her sisters, Kay Kitchings and Eileen Powers; and her grandchildren, Launa Marie Smith Rabon, Bert Brunson Smith, Jessica Lauren Player Amick and Joel Talmadge Player. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
