With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elouise Gary (Lexington, South Carolina), who passed away on February 5, 2025 at the age of 77. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sims Drafts and Hattie Mae Drafts; her husband Olin Gary; and her brothers, Willie G. Drafts, Clinton Drafts, Cal Langford, Ernest Langford and Charles Langford.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Byrd (Reginald) of West Columbia, SC, Rodney Drafts of Gilbert, SC and Tony Drafts of Lexington, SC; her siblings, Robert Drafts of Columbia, SC and Lula D. Glover (James) of Leesville, SC; and her sister-in-law Vera Gary (Joseph). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews other loving family members and friends.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the J. H. Robinson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel (701 Hendrix St, Lexington, SC 29072). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St Mark Baptist Church (337 Devils Backbone Rd, Leesville, SC 29070).
